Kubernetes cluster from scratch with kubeadm — lab
Why. To understand Kubernetes deeply, you build it yourself — not via a managed cluster. This lab installs a kubeadm cluster end to end to master every building block.
What I build
- Control plane bootstrap with
kubeadm init, joining workers viakubeadm join. - containerd runtime + CNI (Calico/Flannel) for pod networking.
- NGINX Ingress, persistent storage, and
kube-vip/HAProxy for an HA control plane. - Hardening: RBAC, NetworkPolicies, secrets, version upgrades.
